📰 BIG STORIES IN SMALL TOWNS — WOLSELEY IN THE SPOTLIGHT! 📰

Students from the University of Regina's School of Journalism pounded the pavement in Wolseley on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, connecting with local residents and community leaders!

Their visit wasn't just an opportunity to experience the beauty of Wolseley and its many wonderful amenities. These aspiring journalists were here as reporters for INKnews, the University of Regina School of Journalism's online news site, gathering stories for their special report series, "Big Stories in Small Towns."

We are excited to share that the Wolseley Public Library will be featured in one of the articles! Other community highlights include our beautiful Opera House, Swinging Bridge, Courthouse, Wolseley Golf Course, Memorial Integrated Care Centre, Twilite Drive-In, and many more!

A special thank-you to Rayna Germann a second-year journalism student, for her curiosity, thoughtful questions, and the time she invested in learning about our local library. We look forward to seeing the finished story!

Donna Dares you to read the Seduction Series by Eloisa James.

If you like Regency romance with good plot twists, continuing characters, and a wee bit of sauciness, you’re in for a treat!

Eloisa James has written with Julia Quinn, author of the Bridgerton series—which I’ll talk more about later. I’m also reading another series by Eloisa James.

I really think you’ll enjoy this four-part series, which is available at our Wolseley Branch!

Donna Dares you to read Blueberry Blunder by Amanda Flower, another book in the Amish Candy Shop Mystery Series.

I find this series both interesting and entertaining. Some of Jethro the pig’s antics are just hilarious!

This story has a special twist that has me wondering what will happen next! I love it when a book makes you want to keep reading the next one in the series, don’t you?
