Nature is therapy, let’s take advantage of that and head outside! 🌳

We are excited to share that our associate Cassandra now offers walk and talk therapy sessions across the GTA!

Traditional therapy is powerful, but it doesn't have to be confined to four walls.

Sometimes, the best way to move through mental loops is to literally get your body moving and ground outdoors.

As always, Cassandra is also available for immediate openings online for both couples and individuals.

👉 Spots are open this season! Send a DM or email [email protected] to get connected for a free consultation call

Happy Pride Month to our wonderful commUNITY! 🏳️‍🌈

This Pride Month, we celebrate the courage, authenticity, and beauty of living as your True Self.

Nourishment goes beyond what's on your plate. It's about feeding your mind with self compassion, your heart with connection, and your spirit with the freedom to be exactly who you are.

Pride is a reminder that you don't need to shrink, change, or explain who you are to deserve love, respect, and belonging. At Nourish Your True Self, we want you to show up as all of you, in all the ways!

Check out all that's going on around the Oxford County commUNITY this month at Oxford County Pride or in their Pride Guide: https://oxfordpride.ca/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/2026-Pride-Guide-1.pdf

And don't forget to check out, and place your bid at their online auction, too! https://www.32auctions.com/OxfordCountyPride2026

Written a year ago.
But maybe it'll be helpful for you today.

One day I’m able to honor my rhythm and be patient with myself. The next, I’m frustratingly wrestling with relentless brain chatter. And today, this reminder lands in my inbox:
"You’re letting go of some things right now, and that can be hard. But to receive what’s meant for you, you have to release what’s not."

There it is. Ugh okay fine, and yes please.
Both are true.

So I keep doing the things that bring me back to myself. I play the music that makes my hips remember joy and light incense while I get ready in the morning. I stretch across the yoga mat, even if my heart feels too heavy to rise. I walk amongst the trees where I dont need words to explain myself.

I do all this, even when my brains says, “What’s the point?”

This. This is the point
One melody. One lyric. One cat stretch. One stroll through the trees.

I stack the small and sacred things, until I am back in the place of patiently honoring my rhythm again.

I’m not lost, or broken (as much as my brain is fearful of both)
I’m just...
recalibrating

And there it is;

Love ya!

Heya! Jenilee here. Happy Wednesday!

I have loved and experienced so many benefits from my breathwork practice; a practice that was introduced to me years ago by a client (thank you thank you thank you)! I've been attending online and in person sessions for 6+ years now (not to mention 25+ years of yogic breathwork) and am excited to have found a breathwork modality to bring to the therapeutic spaces I hold at !

Now holding Conscious Connected Breathwork (CCB) sessions online or in person; with a monthly online group coming soon!

Conscious Connected Breathwork is an active breathing technique, where inhales and exhales continue without pauses. This sustained, rhythmic breathing cycle alters your state of consciousness, helping to regulate the nervous system, release tension, and process emotions from deep within the body.

CCB is not recommended for people with severe cardiovascular issues, epilepsy, or those who are pregnant

DM or email me at [email protected] for more information/to set up a consult, or to talk about getting you booked in!

I'm so excited to see where this g(r)o(w)s!! 💜

We love a quick little resource that gives us some ideas of what to do to help emotions flow through us, rather than get stuck in us. If you’re feeling overstimulated or overwhelmed today, try one of these and let us know if you noticed anything!

A pause, in whatever form, gives us a chance to notice and respond to our feeling, like tending to a scraped knee. You'd tend to it to soothe it, and then step back and let the body do the rest of the healing work. Same with out emotions! Tend to them, and then let them flow on out. No need to fix. Just need to pause.

Let us know how it goes!
Thanks to for this great little visual

This is what disordered eating can sound like…“I can’t trust myself around food". “If I could just lose this weight, everything would be better". "I’ve been battling with my body for my whole life".
If you recognize these expressions, and you are waiting for life to get better, waiting to feel better, waiting to be comfortable, waiting to participate... exploring what a healthy relationship with food might be what you have actually been waiting for! Having a team, with a dietitian and therapist, guide and support you on this journey could be the answer. Message us. We'd feel stoked, and humbled, for the opportunity to make a plan with you;

A Conversation that was had; between a sharer (S) and Jenilee (J)

S: I don't know if this is funny but it made me laugh this morning. Eating Disorder moment 12 billion: saw a large hole in my bread this morning as I was making toast, quickly got very excited saying to myself "yay look at the size of that hole...less calories" .... then laughed hysterically at how ridiculous ED actually sounds/is

J: This! This is...hilarious, sad, frustrating (F*ck diet culture) AND sometimes you just have to laugh at the ridiculousness of it all.
Like this: how has an industry convinced us that our body can handle supplements and strange smoothie concoctions; protein powers and all that jazz...but we can't eat a slice of bread or eat a banana?!

S: lol BAM so true!

You are not alone (sharer, or you reading this!). You are not the only one trying to break up with diet culture and noticing that its messages sneak into your day in the most hilarious/sad/frustrating ways.
Say things out loud! Send us messages, share your inspirational messages and images! F*ck diet culture and it's goal to make you feel like you need to fix and change your body! You are not broken! And BAM to eating what you enjoy and moving in ways that feel good to you!

The break up process isn't easy, but it's possible.
Want some help with your break up? Maybe Nourish Your True Self is the team for you!
