We're now accepting donations of clothing and small household items for our Free Clothing Giveaway on Saturday, October 24th! Please drop off your items in the church foyer by Thursday, October 22nd.

**IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ** - If you have previously attended a pottery class with us in the past you will NOT be eligible for this event. Once spots have been filled we will start a short waitlist and you will be notified as to where you are placed. Priority is given to those who currently attend programs here at the VFRC. Thank you for understanding.

We are back!!! 😁 Join us for a special evening of pottery with Jenna's Wheelhouse as she teaches everyone how to make their very own pottery mug! No experience necessary, just a willingness to get muddy and have fun. Instruction of basic hand building techniques (pinchpot and slab) will be taught and all materials & firings are provided. After forming your masterpieces, makers will leave their pieces to dry and be kiln fired offsite. Each participant will specify what colour(s) they want their pots to be glazed, and approximately 1 month later mugs will be returned finished, food safe, and ready for use! Limited spots available so please register at www.vfrc.ca

If you know a family in need who is currently expecting a baby or recently given birth and could use a little extra help please nominate them for a FREE Newborn/Infant Starter Kit. You can also nominate yourself. This kit includes diapers, wipes, clothing, blankets, a book, bath items, diaper cream, treats for Mom and more. This program is for local families in the Woodstock area and surrounding communities.

If you have not yet received a kit please stop by the Valley Family Resource Centre at 110 Richmond Street in Woodstock to pick yours up, while supplies last. We are open today through Thursday from 8:30-4:00. We are closed on Fridays. These are available to everyone! 😃
