Woodstock Tourism & Events Woodstock is located off Exits 185 & 188 of the Trans Canada Highway. Downtown is where the Meduxnekeag meets the St. John River.

Woodstock, New Brunswick’s First Town, is rich with more than 150 years of history and heritage and is home to some of New Brunswick’s pioneers. Calling all young anglers! The New Brunswick Sport Fishing Association (NBSFA) is hosting a Kids Fishing Event right here in Woodstock! 🌊

📅 Sunday, September 6, 2026
📍 NBCC Boat Launch – Woodstock, NB
⏰ 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM
📝 Registration starts at 7:30 AM

Kids can compete in one of three age groups:
🎣 1–8 years
🎣 9–12 years
🎣 13–16 years

🏆 Prizes for the longest bass and longest perch in each age group!

And the best part… FREE ENTRY & BBQ FOR KIDS! 🌭🎉

Awards and prizes will be presented at 1:00 PM.

Don’t miss your last chance to enjoy the Woodstock Night Market in downtown Woodstock! 🛍️🎶🍔

Come out tonight to shop local vendors, enjoy great food, connect with friends and neighbours, and soak up the atmosphere one last time this season.

A HUGE thank you goes out to all the amazing volunteers with the Woodstock Farm & Craft Market who worked behind the scenes each week to make the Woodstock Night Market such a success. ❤️

Your time, energy and dedication helped bring our downtown to life week after week, and we truly appreciate everything you have done to make this event possible!
