🚨 We Need Your Help
A recent ceiling leak caused significant damage to some of the donation items we had stored at DASO. We’re now working to replenish essential supplies for the women and children we support.

We are currently in need of:

Double/Queen comforters

Goodnites Pull-Ups — XS & Small

🍝 Pantry & Meals
School snacks
Cereal
Macaroni or penne noodles
Spaghetti sauce

Chef Boyardee
Mr. Noodles

🍽️ Kitchen
Cutlery (new or gently used condition)
Corelle dishes (new or gently used condition)

Every donation, big or small, helps us rebuild our supplies and continue providing a safe, comfortable home for the women and children staying with us. 💜

🍦☀️ LET’S END SUMMER ON A SWEET NOTE! ☀️🍦

We’re planning a fun End-of-Summer Sundae Party for the women and children staying at DASO, and we’d love your help making our sundae bar extra special!

We’re looking for a few sweet treats to help us build the ultimate sundae station:

🍨 Ice cream
🍫 Syrups
🌈 Sprinkles
🍬 Candy & fun toppings

If you’d like to help us create a little summer sweetness, we’ll be collecting donations until Thursday, September 3rd.

We’re currently recruiting volunteers to join the DASO team!

There are a variety of ways to get involved, including:

💜 Donation Facilitators (including holiday donation support)
💜 SoupStock (our annual DASO fundraiser)
💜 Administration Support
💜 Other volunteer opportunities based on your skills and interests

Whether you have a few hours to give or want to get more involved, your time makes a difference. Every volunteer helps us continue supporting individuals and families in our community.

A huge thank you to everyone who made the Sally Creek Community Fundraiser & Car Show such an incredible success!

Together, $5,000 was raised in support of Domestic Abuse Services Oxford. We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of everyone who attended, volunteered, sponsored, donated, and helped make this event possible.

Registration for the PEACE Program now OPEN!

DASO, in partnership with Ingamo Homes is pleased to offer our upcoming PEACE (Prevention, Education, Advocacy, Counselling, and Empowerment) Program: an 8-week concurrent program supporting mothers and their children (ages 3–18) who have been impacted by domestic and gender-based violence.

Through separate but connected groups, moms and children/youth will have the opportunity to connect with others, build skills, and take part in supportive conversations and activities focused on healing, growth, and empowerment.

Participants will explore topics such as:
✨ Communication skills
✨ Understanding and expressing emotions
✨ Safety planning
✨ Healthy coping strategies
✨ Building confidence and resilience

Families will participate in a safe, supportive, and confidential environment designed to strengthen relationships, reduce stigma, and support each person’s healing journey.

The PEACE Program includes:
💜 Free transportation to and from sessions
💜 A free meal at each session
💜 Separate groups for moms and children/youth
💜 Free and confidential participation
