We’re your one stop centre for Employment Services in Oxford County!

CES offers a variety of services and programming for job seekers, ranging from youth and students to newcomers and mid career professionals. The knowledgeable CES resource staff are trained to assist in all aspects of the job hunt from providing labour market information, reviewing cover letters and resumes, to offering employment counselling. CES provides free workshops focused on helping participants increase their job readiness and build or augment employable skills. CES also works closely with local employers to help advertise and fill vacant positions as well as provide information about available wage subsidy and apprenticeship programs. CES offers free of charge consultation, recruitment and hiring assistance as well as prescreening and referral of candidates that meet the employer's requirements. Employers are also invited to post job ads directly on WorkinOxford.ca, Oxford County's job site, which receives tens of thousands of hits a month.

IMT Precision is recruiting multiple Machine Operators to join their Ingersoll team.

Responsibilities include:
*Loading materials into production machines
*Monitoring product quality
*Performing visual inspections
*Working as part of a fast-paced manufacturing team

We're looking for individuals who:
*Have previous experience working as a Machine Operator, CNC Operator, or Robotic
Equipment Operator
*Have strong attention to detail
*Are eligible to complete and pass the required Controlled Goods security
assessment
*Enjoy hands-on work
*Work well independently and within a team environment
*Are able to work rotating shifts

Researchers from the University of Guelph are looking to speak with South Asian residents (18+) about their experiences of living, working, and building a life in Oxford County as part of the Kahaani: South Asian Stories of Oxford County project.
