CES offers a variety of services and programming for job seekers, ranging from youth and students to newcomers and mid career professionals. The knowledgeable CES resource staff are trained to assist in all aspects of the job hunt from providing labour market information, reviewing cover letters and resumes, to offering employment counselling. CES provides free workshops focused on helping partici
pants increase their job readiness and build or augment employable skills. CES also works closely with local employers to help advertise and fill vacant positions as well as provide information about available wage subsidy and apprenticeship programs. CES offers free of charge consultation, recruitment and hiring assistance as well as prescreening and referral of candidates that meet the employer's requirements. Employers are also invited to post job ads directly on WorkinOxford.ca, Oxford County's job site, which receives tens of thousands of hits a month.
