Join us to discover some of the amazing birds that call Woodstock home. We'll be on the lookout for Woodstock's Official City Bird: the Black-capped Chickadee!

We'll meet at Woodstock Public Library before heading to Vansittart Park (175 Vansittart Ave.) for a guided bird-spotting walk. Kids are encouraged to bring their binoculars and help us see how many birds we can find along the way!

We're celebrating First Nations Public Library Week by sharing the fifth iteration of the FNPLW Elder's Panel. This year's panel, "Community Superheroes" features three Elders from different territories who have made significant contributions to Indigenous communities. The recording features Myrtle Jamieson from Beausoleil First Nation (Christian Island), John Rice from Wasauksing First Nation (Parry Island), and Dr. Marlene Brant Castellano from Kenhtè:ke, nè:ne Kanyen’kehá:ka (Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory).
