Woodstock's Island Park

Woodstock's Island Park Island Park was a public park located on a now submerged island in the Saint John River, next to Woodstock.

Island Park was located on Woodstock Island, a 28 hectare tear-drop shaped island. It was known as the Heart of Woodstock and hosted Woodstock Old Home Week from 1948 to 1967. It contained a railway, ball-field, exhibition hall and racetrack. The island was submerged in the Raising of the River and now sits under 5m of water
