It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Neil Dolson on April 23.

Neil served on the Oxford Community Foundation board for many years, bringing dedication, warmth, and a deep love for this community to everything he did. A devoted family man who was immensely proud of his children and grandchildren, Neil dedicated his career to agriculture and never stopped believing in the power of giving back — and he lived that belief every day.

Together with his wife Gail, Neil established the Dolson Family Fund, ensuring his generosity will continue supporting local community initiatives in Oxford County for generations to come.
We are grateful for everything Neil gave to this community and to our Foundation. He will be deeply missed.

Our thoughts are with Gail and the Dolson family.

It is with both gratitude and warm wishes that we share the news that Louise Wardrop will be retiring as Executive Director of the Oxford Community Foundation in June 2026.

“Louise’s integrity, compassion, and commitment to Oxford County have set the tone for the Foundation’s next chapter. We are deeply grateful for her leadership,” said Kim Parker, Chair of the Board of Directors.

The Board is actively planning a smooth leadership transition and will share more information as next steps are confirmed.

“It’s been an incredible privilege to serve this community. I’ve witnessed the generosity and vision that make Oxford County so special, and I look forward to continuing that work in new ways,” said Louise Wardrop.

Please join us in celebrating Louise’s contributions and in wishing her a fulfilling and joyful retirement.
