It is with profound sadness that we got news of the passing of a great friend to our community. Scott Ralston in the past was our Treasurer and the President. He also served as Zone 4 Director, Treasurer and the President of The Snowmobile Federation in the past. Scotty had a love of anything sledding and enjoyed seeing all areas of the province from his sled.
Scott's dedication to your club was a driving force of many projects and purchases.

Scott may the trail of white gold you are on now be forever smooth and your fuel and oil tank be bottomless.

Rest easy Scott.

When I die
Give what’s left of me away
To children
And old men that wait to die.

And if you need to cry,
Cry for your brother
Walking the street beside you
And when you need me,
Put your arms
Around anyone
And give to them
What you need to give to me.

I want to leave you something,
Something better
Than words
Or sounds.

Look for me
In the people I’ve known
Or loved,
And if you cannot give me away,
At least let me live in your eyes
And not on your mind.

You can love me most
By letting
Hands touch hands
By letting
Bodies touch bodies
And by letting go
Of children
That need to be free.

Love doesn’t die,
People do.
So, when all that’s left of me
Is love,
Give me away

The Woodstock Trailmakers club members and volunteers enjoyed a delicious steak dinner as they celebrated the end of the season last night. Presentations were made to two families during the evening. The Everett family was recognized as the 2026 'Volunteers of the Year' for their many contributions to the club, including helping clear trails, grooming, and always being willing to help with any job that needed to be done. Norm and Cathy were also presented with a farewell gift in recognition of their many years of volunteerism with the club as they prepare for a months-long trip. Their contributions to the club will be greatly missed while they are away. It was a wonderful evening filled with great food, visiting, and well-deserved recognition.
