The Competition Bureau is currently examining competition across Canada's food supply chain, including areas that directly affect producers at the farm gate.

To help inform APAS's submission, we have developed a short survey focused on farm machinery dealers, service, parts availability, and competition within Saskatchewan. The survey is intended to help us better understand producers' experiences and identify any emerging concerns across the province.

We are asking all APAS Representatives to complete the survey themselves and share it with their RM Council and local producers.

The feedback collected will help APAS better understand:
• Competition among machinery dealers
• Availability of parts and service
• Experiences with dealer territories and servicing
• Producer awareness of protections available under The Agricultural Implements Act

The more producer feedback we receive, the stronger our submission to the Competition Bureau will be.

To capture as much input as possible, APAS will also be promoting the survey through our social media channels and other communication platforms. We encourage you to help spread the word within your municipality and local agricultural community.

This is another opportunity for APAS to bring grassroots producer experiences directly into a national conversation about competition in Canadian agriculture.

Thank you for taking the time to complete the survey and for helping ensure Saskatchewan producers have a strong voice in this important discussion.
