Thank you to everyone who joined us last night at the ELCC for our Emergency Preparedness Information Session.

In recognition of Emergency Preparedness Week across Ontario and Canada, we were pleased to partner with the County of Lambton to provide practical resources and advice. A special thanks to Jay VanKlinken, Emergency Management Coordinator for the County of Lambton, for his presentation, and to our Director of Emergency and Fire Services and township staff for sharing their expertise.

We also want to congratulate Jane Joris, who was the winner of our 72-hour emergency kit draw.

Being prepared is a shared responsibility, and sessions like these help ensure we are all ready to support one another when it matters most. For those who couldn't attend, information on building your own emergency kit and creating a household plan is available on our website and through the County of Lambton’s emergency management pages.
