With our recent snowfall, we’re reminding everyone to help your fire hydrant be ready to do its job by keeping it clear of snow.
Please ensure there is at least 3 feet of clearance around the hydrant, and a direct access path to the street, as this helps us when seconds count in an emergency.

Firefighters from Camlachie and Wyoming Volunteer Firefighters Association (and surrounding departments) spent the last two weekends going through the Ontario Fire College’s Pump Operations course.

A lot of time spent on pre-course work, and then two weekends of hands on training before going through testing by the province.
