Planning a visit to this Saturday?

Please note that downtown streets and parking will be impacted on Saturday, June 6 due to the inaugural Petrolia's Eats, Beats and Boutiques event taking place in downtown Town of Petrolia, Ontario.

✅ Petrolia Library will be open regular hours, but visitors should plan ahead and allow extra time for parking and access to the library.

After your library visit, stay and explore the event featuring local shops, vendors, food, live entertainment, family activities, and more.

We look forward to seeing you at the library and celebrating with the community downtown!

Exciting things are happening at !

Thanks to the generous donation of the Stones ‘N Bones Museum collection by Allison Richards to the County of Lambton, plans are underway to create a new permanent home for this beloved museum inside , operated by the County’s Museums, Gallery & Archives department.

The project will bring together the expertise of professional museum staff with a dynamic public space, creating a professionally curated museum experience alongside library services. Visitors will be able to explore natural history while also enjoying access to books, learning, and community programming under one roof, creating a destination where visitors can discover everything from dinosaurs and fossils to their next great read.

Before the next chapter begins, be sure to visit Stones 'N Bones Museum this summer for one last chance to experience the collection in its current location.
