Seniors 65 years old or older may qualify for the Guaranteed Income Supplement. If you have filed your taxes and have not automatically received an application, you will need to apply. The link below provides information on the criteria for receiving the monthly tax-free payment and how to apply.

Guaranteed Income Supplement provides monthly payments to seniors who are receiving Old Age Security Pension (OAS) and have an annual income lower than the maximum annual threshold.

SCAM ALERT!!
Someone calling from an 867 area code is claiming to be from Amazon and asking about an order. They are looking for credit card numbers and passwords. Hang up if you get a call claiming to be from Amazon, but the phone number is an 867 area code. Never give out personal information, passwords or credit card information over the phone when you are contacted by anyone!!!
