😋🥣 October is National Chili Month, which means slow cookers are back on the menu!

Slow cookers are designed for long cooking times, but safe placement is important to help reduce fire risk:
• Keep flammable items away from the slow cooker.
• Place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface where it won't be knocked over.
• Keep the cord out of walkways and away from the edge of counters.

The best chili recipe starts with safe cooking habits.
