On May 26, 2026, the Albay Provincial Jail, in partnership with the Alternative Learning System (ALS), formally conducted the enrolment for School Year 2026–2027. This significant undertaking underscores our continuing mission to provide accessible education as a vital component of rehabilitation and personal development for our Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs).
The enrolment was successfully facilitated through the commitment and expertise of our dedicated educators: Mr. Al Econar, Senior High School Teacher and Mr. Roderick Lleva, Junior High School Teacher
Their invaluable service ensures that learning opportunities remain within reach, empowering PDLs to pursue knowledge and skills that will aid their reintegration into society.
We express our profound appreciation to JCSUPT Felly Atienza-Cebuma (Ret.), our Provincial Jail Warden, whose steadfast leadership and unwavering support continue to inspire and strengthen our institutional programs. Her guidance serves as a cornerstone in advancing initiatives that uphold education as a pathway to transformation.
Through this enrolment activity, the Albay Provincial Jail reaffirms its dedication to fostering hope, dignity, and opportunity—proving that education is not confined by walls, but is a right that must be extended to all.
