A 26-year-old Nigerian 🇳🇬 man named Osarenkhoe Atutie has been sentenced to seven-and-a-half years in prison after pleading guilty to the attempted murder of his estranged wife, Victory Atutie, whom he repeatedly stabbed next to their daughter. This incident occurred in Uk 🇬🇧 Atutie ambushed the victim and stabbed her 12 times in the head and body.The assault only ended when three heroic passersby ran to the mother’s aid, intervening and detaining Atutie until police arrived.The Injuries: The victim suffered severe physical trauma, including a collapsed lung and permanent facial scarring. Today 5 August 2026, at the High Court in Glasgow, Judge Lord Cubie handed Atutie an extended sentence of seven-and-a-half years in prison followed by an additional three-year supervision period.
