Wie erleben Eritreische Geflüchtete Inklusion in der Schweizer Gesellschaft?
How do Eritrean refugees experience inclusion in Swiss society?
Sharing personal stories and lived experiences, Eritrean refugees participating in the SNSF Agora project Fostering Inclusion of Refugees: Storytelling and Dialogue created powerful short videos. In honest and vulnerable ways, they raise awareness of what it means to experience racial discrimination, shedding light on diverse hurdles such as limited job opportunities, isolation, long and scrutinizing asylum procedures, and everyday macro- and microaggressions.
Following the screening of some selected short videos, project leader Wegahta Sereke (Postdoctoral researcher, Faculty of Communication, Culture and Society, Università della Svizzera italiana) and some of the video creators will discuss emergent topics with the audience.
This event will be held in English and German. The event is a collaboration with Università della Svizzera italiana.
