World Trade Organization - WTO

The World Trade Organization (WTO) deals with the global rules of trade between nations. At its heart are the WTO agreements, negotiated by its members.

Its main function is to ensure that trade flows as smoothly, predictably and freely as possible. The World Trade Organisation (WTO) is the international organization whose primary purpose is to open trade for the benefit of all. The WTO's founding and guiding principles remain the pursuit of open borders, the guarantee of non-discriminatory treatment by and among members, and a commitment to trans

parency in the conduct of its activities. The World Trade Organization has three official languages: English, French and Spanish. In French, the organization is known as Organisation mondiale du commerce (OMC). In Spanish, Organización Mundial del Comercio (OMC).
