Agi Veres, Director of the United Nations Development Programme - UNDP in Geneva, and Marie Laure SALLES, Director of the Institute focus on the future of hashtag in this conversation, suggesting that it may be less about development as “catching up” and more about the collective stewardship of our shared future.

Together, they reflect on:
-the global trends redefining development cooperation beyond the traditional donor-recipient model,
-the impact of current funding pressures,
-the emergence of new partners from the private sector to philanthropic foundations,
-technological transformations redefining both the work of the UNDP and the development sector as a whole,
-what a reinvented development paradigm might look like, taking into account geopolitical shifts and hashtag ’s role in this mission.
