Permanent Mission of Thailand to the United Nations Office in Geneva

On 3 September 2026, H.E. Ms. Pratana Disyatat, Ambassador and Deputy Permanent Representative of Thailand to the United Nations and other International Organizations in Geneva, delivered a keynote address at the Opening Ceremony of the Youth Empowerment Forum 2026, organized by the Center for Global Dialogue and Leadership (CGDL).

On this occasion, she addressed young leaders from diverse backgrounds and shared her experiences and insights from three decades of diplomatic service and reflected on Thailand’s longstanding engagement in multilateral diplomacy:

- Highlighted the importance of translating discussions in international meeting rooms into tangible improvements in people’s everyday lives.

- Reaffirmed Thailand’s steadfast commitment to multilateralism and highlighted Thailand’s contribution to advancing human dignity and sustainable development.

- Underscored the important role of youth in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) especially in ensuring meaningful youth participation at both national and international levels.

- Proudly shared with the participant that, according to the latest Sustainable Development Solutions Network report on achieving SDG targets, Thailand ranked number 1 in ASEAN, 3rd in Asia, and 43 out of 169 countries that have been surveyed, Ambassador Disyatat encouraged the participants to use their voices and ideas to be SDG champion in their own circle.

เมื่อวันที่ 11 สิงหาคม 2569 คณะผู้แทนถาวรไทยประจำสหประชาติ ณ นครเจนีวา ได้จัดพิธีเจริญพระพุทธมนต์และถวายเพลเพื่อถวายพระราชกุศล เนื่องในวันคล้ายวันพระราชสมภพ สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง และวันแม่แห่งชาติ ๑๒ สิงหาคม ๒๕๖๙ โดยนางสาวอุศณา พีรานนท์ เอกอัครราชทูต ผู้แทนถาวรไทยประจำสหประชาชาติ ณ นครเจนีวา พร้อมด้วยนางพิมพ์ชนก พิตต์ฟีลด์ เอกอัครราชทูต ผู้แทนถาวรไทยประจำองค์การการค้าโลกและองค์การทรัพย์สินทางปัญญาโลก ได้นำข้าราชการคณะผู้แทนถาวรไทยประจำสหประชาชาติ ณ นครเจนีวา และคณะผู้แทนถาวรไทยประจำองค์การการค้าโลกและองค์การทรัพย์สินทางปัญญาโลก เข้าร่วมพิธีฯ โดยพร้อมเพรียงกัน

On 11 August 2026, the Permanent Mission of Thailand organised a merit making ceremony on the auspicious occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother and National Mother’s Day on 12 August 2026. The ceremony was presided over by H.E. Miss Usana Berananda, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to the United Nations in Geneva. H.E. Mrs. Pimchanok Pittfield, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to the World Trade Organization and the World Intellectual Property Organization, was also present as well as officials of the two Permanent Missions.

เมื่อวันที่ 24 กรกฎาคม 2569 คณะผู้แทนถาวรไทยประจำสหประชาชาติ ณ นครเจนีวา ร่วมกับคณะผู้แทนถารไทยประจำองค์การการค้าโลกและองค์การทรัพย์สินทางปัญญาโลก จัดกิจกรรมจิตอาสาบำเพ็ญสาธารณประโยชน์และบำเพ็ญสาธารณกุศล เฉลิมพระเกียรติพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว เนื่องในโอกาสวันเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษา 28 กรกฎาคม 2569 ด้วยการร่วมเก็บขยะและทำความสะอาดห้องน้ำสาธารณะ ณ สวนสาธารณะ La Campagne ซึ่งเป็นสถานที่ที่คณะผู้แทนถาวรประเทศสมาชิกอาเซียนใช้จัดกิจกรรมวันกีฬาและครอบครัวอาเซียนมาเป็นระยะเวลา 3 ปีติดต่อกัน
กิจกรรมนี้จัดขึ้นเพื่อเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของพิธีเฉลิมพระเกียรติพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวตลอดเดือนกรกฎาคม เพื่อแสดงถึงจิตสาธารณะของข้าราชการและเจ้าหน้าที่คณะผู้แทนถาวรไทยฯ ที่มีต่อชุมชนท้องถิ่น

On 24 July 2026, the Permanent Mission of Thailand to the United Nations Office and other International Organizations in Geneva, in collaboration with the Permanent Mission of Thailand to the World Trade Organization and the World Intellectual Property Organization, organised a volunteer public clean-up activities at La Campagne public park where the Permanent Missions of ASEAN Member States has used as a venue for the ASEAN Sport and Family Day for three consecutive years.
This activity was organised as part of the nation-wide celebrations in Thailand during the month of July to mark the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua (28 July). The event not only strengthened the spirit of volunteerism among Thai officials and staffs but also highlighted Thailand’s contribution to local communities overseas.

เมื่อวันที่ 24 กรกฎาคม 2569 นางสาวอุศณา พีรานนท์ เอกอัครราชทูต ผู้แทนถาวรไทยประจำสหประชาชาติ ณ นครเจนีวา เป็นประธานในพิธีบำเพ็ญกุศลปัญญาสมวาร (50 วัน) เพื่ออุทิศถวายพระกุศลแด่สมเด็จพระเจ้าลูกเธอ เจ้าฟ้าพัชรกิติยาภา นเรนทิราเทพยวดี กรมหลวงราชสาริณีสิริพัชร มหาวัชรราชธิดา โดยมีนางพิมพ์ชนก พิตต์ฟีลด์ เอกอัครราชทูตผู้แทนถาวรไทยประจำองค์การการค้าโลกและองค์การทรัพย์สินทางปัญญาโลก และข้าราชการคณะผู้แทนถาวรไทยทั้งสองแห่งเข้าร่วมพิธีเพื่อแสดงความจงรักภักดีและน้อมรำลึกในพระกรุณาธิคุณ

On 24 July 2026, H.E. Miss Usana Berananda, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to the United Nations in Geneva presided over a merit-making ceremony on the occasion of the 50th day of the passing of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati Kromluangrajasarinisiribajra Mahavajrarajadhita. The ceremony was attended by H.E. Mrs. Pimchanok Pitfield, Ambassador and Permanent Representatives of Thailand to the World Trade Organization and the World Intellectual Property Organization, and officials of both Permanent Missions.

เมื่อวันที่ ๒๔ กรกฎาคม ๒๕๖๙ คณะผู้แทนถาวรไทยประจำสหประชาติ ณ นครเจนีวา ได้จัดพิธีเฉลิมพระเกียรติพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว เนื่องในโอกาสวันเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษา ๒๘ กรกฎาคม ๒๕๖๙ ประกอบด้วยพิธีถวายราชสักการะและวางพานพุ่ม พิธีถวายสัตย์ปฏิญาณเพื่อเป็นข้าราชการที่ดีและพลังของแผ่นดิน พิธีจุดเทียนถวายพระพรชัยมงคล การลงนามถวายพระพร และพิธีเจริญพระพุทธมนต์และทำบุญถวายภัตตาหารเพลเพื่อถวายพระราชกุศล โดยนางสาวอุศณา พีรานนท์ เอกอัครราชทูต ผู้แทนถาวรไทยประจำสหประชาชาติ ณ นครเจนีวา พร้อมด้วยนางพิมพ์ชนก พิตต์ฟีลด์ เอกอัครราชทูต ผู้แทนถาวรไทยประจำองค์การการค้าโลกและองค์การทรัพย์สินทางปัญญาโลก ได้นำข้าราชการคณะผู้แทนถาวรไทยประจำสหประชาชาติ ณ นครเจนีวา และคณะผู้แทนถาวรไทยประจำองค์การการค้าโลกและองค์การทรัพย์สินทางปัญญาโลก เข้าร่วมพิธีฯ เพื่อแสดงความจงรักภักดีและน้อมรำลึกถึงพระมหากรุณาธิคุณ

On 24 July 2026, the Permanent Mission of Thailand organised a ceremony to celebrate the auspicious occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua on 28 July 2026. The ceremony was presided over by H.E Miss Usana Berananda, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to the United Nations in Geneva. H.E. Mrs. Pimchanok Pitfield, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to the World Trade Organization and the World Intellectual Property Organization, was also present as well as officials of the two Permanent Missions.

เมื่อวันที่ 21 กรกฎาคม 2569 นางสาวอุศณา พีรานนท์ เอกอัครราชทูต ผู้แทนถาวรไทยประจำสหประชาชาติ ณ นครเจนีวา ให้การต้อนรับ รศ. ดร. นรพัทธ์ ศรีมโนภาษ อาจารย์ภาควิชาฟิสิกส์ คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย ซึ่งปัจจุบันเป็นนักวิจัยที่ The European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) และคณะนิสิต นักศึกษาไทยที่เข้าร่วมโครงการความร่วมมือไทย-CERN ในโครงการนักศึกษาภาคฤดูร้อน CERN จำนวน 4 คน จากจุฬาลงกรณมหาวิทยาลัย และมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าธนบุรี

ในโอกาสนี้ เอกอัครราชทูต ผู้แทนถาวรไทยฯ แสดงความยินดีกับผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการฯ รวมทั้งย้ำความสำคัญของการศึกษาวิจัยด้านวิทยาศาสตร์ เทคโนโลยี และนวัตกรรม ซึ่งจะเป็นรากฐานสำคัญสำหรับการพัฒนาประเทศและการขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจไทย โดยเฉพาะเทคโนโลยีปัญญา ประดิษฐ์และควอนตัมเทคโนโลยี ซึ่งมีวิวัฒนาการอย่างรวดเร็ว ทำให้มีปัญหาท้าทายในการกำหนดกฎระเบียบเพื่อกำกับดูแลและสร้างธรรมาภิบาล จึงขอให้ผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการฯ ใช้โอกาสนี้ศึกษาแนวปฏิบัติที่ดีของประเทศต่าง ๆ ในการกำกับดูแลการใช้เทคโนโลยีใหม่ ๆ ซึ่งจะเป็นประโยชน์เพิ่มเติมจากองค์ความรู้ด้านวิทยาศาสตร์ที่ได้รับจากการเข้าร่วมโครงการฯ

On 21 July 2026, H.E. Ms. Usana Berananda, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to the United Nations Office and other International Organizations in Geneva, welcomed Associate Professor Dr. Norraphat Srimanobhas, Lecturer at the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University, who is currently a researcher at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), together with four Thai university students from Chulalongkorn University and King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi participating in the Thailand-CERN Cooperation Programme under the CERN Summer Student Programme.
On this occasion, the Ambassador, Permanent Representative of Thailand, congratulated the participants of the program and emphasised the importance of research in science, technology, and innovation, which will be a crucial foundation for national development and the driving force of the Thai economy. In particular, the rapid evolution of artificial intelligence and quantum technology presents challenges in regulating and governing these technologies. The Ambassador encouraged the participants to use this opportunity to study best practices from other countries in regulating the use of new technologies. Such knowledge would complement the scientific expertise they gain through the programme.
