Atractivos Turísticos Paseo 21 de Mayo

Este famoso paseo situado en el Cerro Artillería, es uno de los lugares turísticos de Valparaíso más visitados, extendiéndose sobre una alta quebrada, con vistas privilegiadas hacia el puerto y una larga feria artesanal que corre de una extremo a otro. Desde todo el paseo, se hace presente la imagen del edificio de la ex Escuela Naval, con sus bellos jardines, hoy convertido en un museo. Para llegar, se puede tomar el Ascensor Artillería, cuya estación se sitúa en el inicio del Paseo 21 de Mayo.

Atractivos Turísticos Cerro Alegre

El Cerro Alegre, al igual que su vecino Cerro Concepción, presenta una arquitectura representativa de los inmigrantes europeos que habitaron el lugar, construyendo enormes mansiones con fachadas coloridas, desde donde se asoman bow windows y balcones, junto a pequeños antejardines que hoy algunas cafeterías han usado como terrazas.

Atractivos Turísticos Cerro Concepción

Cerro Concepción, se caracteriza por su elegante arquitectura, representativa de la influencia de los inmigrantes alemanes e ingleses que llegaron al lugar en el siglo XIX, los cuales intentaron traer la imagen y costumbres de sus tierras a esta lejana colina, explicando este fenómeno el porqué los dos templos del cerro, pertenecen a la religión anglicana y la luterana, en vez de la católica, predominante en Chile.

Patrimonio Cultural Faro Punta Ángeles

Es el primer faro construido en Chile a instancias del honorable Cabildo de Valparaíso, surgido de la imperiosa necesidad de indicar a los navegantes la entrada a puerto. Dicho faro se inauguró el 18 de Septiembre de 1837, en el lugar llamado Punta Ángeles, donde actualmente se sitúa la Escuela Naval “Arturo Prat”.

Patrimonio Cultural Edificio Luis Cousiño

El edificio inmueble, fue construido entre los años 1881 y 1883 gracias a Isidora Goyenechea en honor y memoria de su marido Luis Cousiño para albergar las empresas de Carbonífera.

Estuvo varios años abandonados, siendo incendiado varias veces llamándose así la ratonera y quedo como símbolo del deteriorado patrimonial de Valparaíso, fue adquirido por la fundación DUOC haciéndola sede educativa y universitaria.

Patrimonio cultural el Reloj turri

El edificio del Reloj Turri es señalado como una de las construcciones más características de la ciudad.

Su diseño y particularidad ha sido retratada por muchos artistas que lo destacan no sólo como una construcción antigua, sino también como representante del aspecto patrimonial de la ciudad puerto.

La denominación tradicional de "Reloj Turri" se debe a la presencia de una notaría, frente al edificio, cuyo propietario era de apellido Turri, razón por la cual la gente comenzó a referirse al reloj como "el reloj del Turri".

The building of the Turri clock is designated as one of the most characteristic town buildings.

Your design and particularity has been portrayed by many artists that stand out it not only as an old building, but also as a representative of the patrimonial aspect of the port city.

The traditional name of "Watch Turri" is due to the presence of a notary, in front of the building, whose owner was's surname Turri, reason by which people began to refer to as "the Turri clock" clock.

Sobre la región...

La ciudad de Valparaíso es de las más antiguas del país y, además de su particular geografía, posee muchos lugares atractivos que han hecho de ella una joya atractiva para ser retratada por artistas, profesionales y aficionados.

Siendo la ciudad porteña un Patrimonio de la Humanidad, basta un recorrido por sus calles principales para apreciar una cantidad no menor de edificaciones antiguas, las que llevan ahí más tiempo que cualquiera de sus habitantes.

Sobre la gente de la region...

Esta Región tiene mucha gente de esfuerzo, con vida sacrificada, con mayor preocupación por el trabajo se preocupan mucho de la comunidad y de los turistas que vienen a nuestra region son muy solidarios con la gente y siempre que necesitan ayuda un ciudadano esta dispuesto ayudar.

Economía: La V Región tiene uno de los suelos más fértiles de Chile, exporta principalmente paltas, chirimoyas, hortalizas, y flores. La actividad portuaria es la más importante del país, cuenta con tres grandes puertos; Valparaíso, Sn. Antonio y Quintero-Ventanos, más 22 caletas de pescadores. El cobre es el principal mineral de la región (Río Blanco).EL turismo es un importante fuente de ingresos, la región tiene dos aeropuertos internacionales : el de Torquemada y el de Mataveri.

Patrimonio Cultural de nuestra Región

Desde inicios de los años 40 que los habitantes de la ciudad de Valparaíso aspiraban a tener un sistema de trolebuses, lo cual sería una experiencia pionera para Chile, y así también, poder reemplazar a los antiguos tranvías eléctricos que desde 1903 corrían por las calle.

Esto fue vital para valparaiso la gente se transladaba en estos troles buses y pasaban por la ciudad y se divertian viendo el paisaje de valparaiso y sus culturas.
