Job Title: Wet Fire System Technician

Location: South-East Queensland

Start Date: Immediate

About Us:
We are a dynamic and friendly small team specializing in the testing, certification, maintenance, and rectification of fire systems, including sprinklers, pumps, hydrants, and hose reels. We provide services throughout South-East Queensland and occasionally in regional areas.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Sprinkler Fitter, Apprentice Sprinkler Fitter, Plumber, or Apprentice Plumber to join our team as a Wet Fire System Technician. The ideal candidate will have experience in fire systems, possess computer skills, and have knowledge of FIP isolations, however no experience candidate are encouraged to apply. A great work ethic is essential as we will provide you with all the skills and training necessary to build a long term career in the Fire Industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting with testing and certification of fire systems (sprinklers, pumps, hydrants, hose reels)
- Maintenance and rectification of fire systems
- Conducting FIP isolations
- Utilizing computer skills for system updates and reporting
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards

Qualifications:

Experience as a Sprinkler Fitter, Apprentice Sprinkler Fitter, Plumber, or Apprentice Plumber
Knowledge of fire systems and FIP isolations is an advantage but not essential. Basic computer skills,
Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication and teamwork skills are what we are looking for. Willingness to travel for regional work as required

Another great moment when the onboard storage tank is complete. This enables Marksman Fire & Safety to conduct Hydrostatic Pressure Tests and small boosted flow tests without the use of supply water with our state of the art Pumper Appliance (Simulation Fire Truck) Great job Sensei Tarian and awesome apprentice Jacko in installing the tank and pipework perfectly.
