Guangzhou forges 110th international sister city
Guangzhou and Brazil's Belo Horizonte have recently signed a memorandum of understanding to establish sister-city ties for friendly cooperation and exchanges, marking the city's 110th international sister city.
In an interview with Guangzhou Daily, Belo Horizonte Mayor Álvaro Damião da Paz joyfully recalled his previous visit to China in 2014. I stayed in Guangzhou for two or three days, he said,Guangzhou appeared incredibly beautiful to us back then, but today it shines even brighter!

Taxi Driver Rushes Woman to Hospital in 7 Minutes, Refuses Fare
When a security guard in Guangzhou's Tianhe urgently sought help for a woman who had accidentally taken the wrong medicine, taxi driver Yang Heng from RuYue Ride didn’t hesitate. He sped the patient to the hospital in just seven minutes - even coordinating with police for green-light passage.
After safely arriving, Yang refused the fare, simply saying, “Saving lives comes first.”
