Born in 1969 in Trieste, Italy, Enrico Millo started the study of piano at the age of 4 with Prof. Under her guidance, he won 18 prizes in national and international competitions in Italy, with gala performances in prestigious venues, such as the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence. In 1989 he graduated from the Bonporti Conservatory in Italy and continued his performing career in chamber groups, explorin

From 1992 to 2002 he lectured Keyboard Accompaniment at the Tartini Conservatory, meanwhile keeping his activity as private piano teacher, conducting young community choirs and bands, and starting his activity as a composer, writing two hymns for the 4th Diocesan Eucharistic Congress in Perugia in 1999, participating to the 2001 and 2003 editions of the Festival Julius Kugy in Trieste with a sonata for organ and some choral pieces, creating the incidental music for the comedy “Serenata al Vento” performed and brought on international tour by the company “Teatro degli Asinelli”. In 2003 he started his career in International schools, spending first two years in Kuwait, where, a part from conducting school ensembles and organizing the playing and singing for the musical “West Side Story”, he kept his musical interests outside the didactics, winning the 2nd prize in the composition category of the Chopin International Prize with his Six Haiku for Piano, joined the Kuwaiti singers as second tenor, accompanied a Korean soprano, and organized a chamber concert at the Italian embassy. In 2006 he moved to Hong Kong where he currently resides, teaching music in various international schools as well as in universities and at the Academy for Performing Arts, collaborating with various ensembles such as the City Chamber Orchestra, the Philharmonic Chorus, conducting the Morgan Stanley Directors choir in two Christmas performances for the Operation Santaclaus, and becoming the official accompanist of the Hong Kong Welsh Male Voice Choir, with an active performance schedule of about 25 between concerts and gigs every year, both in Hong Kong and abroad, recording a CD published by Tryfan (TFR CD437) in occasion of the celebrative concert for their 30th year, and performing in prestigious venues such as the Royal Albert Hall in London and the Sydney Opera House. From 2011 he worked as adjudicator in various competitions in Hong Kong, such as the Inter-school International Performance Challenge, the WADM Open Championship, the Hong Kong Children Music Competition, and the Brahms International Competition, and gave master classes to pianists.
