Since my nephews were little, everyday the garbage truck passes by, they go out to the balcony to warmly greet the gentlemen who work on it, especially "Mister Bene".

They go out and shout his name when they hear the truck is coming nearby and he answers them with the whistle. The same thing happens if they are on a motorcycle on their way to a place and see the truck.

He is such a special being that he has earned their affection. He brings them candies when he comes back from travelling, they always ask for him when he is not on the truck.

This christmas eve he got out of the truck to give them a gift!.

Thank you Mr Bene for your lifelong service!

Always for sport always for youth

- A pathway from Fresh Water Bay to South West Bay so tourists and athletes can travel without fear of vehicles, with viewpoints to enjoy the sunsets.
- Some huts for tourism promoters located on the beaches to protect them from the sun. With showers and lockers to prevent robberies of tourists belongings.
- A tourist port to reconnect the island with maritime tourist trips from San Andres and why not whit the Caribbean.
- An ATM at the Airport and an exchange office, for the facility of visitors.
-The adequacy of Cayo Cangrejo.
- The adaptation of more ecological trails (Split Hill would be a very good hiking attraction).
- An environmentally friendly island without garbage.
- Some booths where crafts and our gastronomy are offered (It could be on the pathway street of Santa Catalina)

These are some things I dream of for my beloved Old Providence & Santa Catalina. Some ideas that can be taken into account by those who currently manage our resources☺️🙏🏽.

Un solo día es, sin duda poco, para agradecerles maestros todo lo que con amor, paciencia y dedicación, hacen por la educación de nuestros niños y jóvenes.

Ustedes con su trabajo diario, guían a sus estudiantes no solo por un mundo de conocimientos, sino por el camino de la vida.

Gracias Maestro por dar lo mejor de usted, para entregarnos lo que nadie nos puede quitar, lo aprendido, la educación y el conocimiento.

Nuestro turismo y nuestras costumbres deben volver a nuestras raíces. Seguimos alejándonos de nuestra esencia, acercándonos a una cultura que aunque es de nuestro País, difiere de nosotros; y esto conlleva los problemas socio ambientales que se presentan actualmente en el Archipielago.

Gracias al Embajador de Colombia en Trinidad y Tobago, mi amigo William Bush por recibirme, y poder conversar de lo importante de conectarnos de nuevo con el Caribe. De hablar con la Aerolínea Caribbean Airlines, para mirar alianzas en pro del turismo en nuestras islas, y mirar a la vez experiencias sostenibles aplicables en nuestro territorio.
