Norway’s golden generation of the 1990s helped put a small footballing nation on the world map.

Led by players like Erik Thorstvedt, Alf-Inge Haaland, and Gøran Sørloth, Norway stunned some of the world’s biggest teams, climbed as high as No. 2 in the FIFA World Rankings, and qualified for back-to-back FIFA World Cups in 1994 and 1998.
