⚠️ Drugs & Military Service Don’t Mix ⚠️

In the military, one bad decision can have lifelong consequences. Drug use isn’t just a personal risk—it can cost you your rank, your benefits, and even your entire career. With a strict zero-tolerance policy, there’s no room for mistakes.

It also puts your team at risk. Your unit depends on you to stay sharp, reliable, and ready—especially in high-pressure situations where clear judgment is critical.

💬 If you’re struggling, don’t stay silent. Reach out and get support. Protect your future, your team, and your mission.

🚓 Community Reassurance Update

The Cyprus Joint Police Unit continues to maintain a visible presence within the community. Our officers are conducting regular patrols and supporting the safe dispersal and wellbeing of non-essential staff.

You may notice an increased police presence in the area 👮‍♂️👮‍♀️. This forms part of our proactive approach to keeping residents, workers, and visitors safe.

🏢 Episkopi Police Station remains open 24/7, and members of the public are welcome to attend at any time. No appointment is necessary, so please feel free to pop in if you have concerns or would like to speak with an officer.

👀 We encourage everyone to remain vigilant. If you see anything suspicious or out of place, please report it immediately by calling 112.

🚨 URGENT SAFETY NOTICE – REPEAT ISSUE 🚨

Unsafe Parking on Lincolnshire Lane, Episkopi

This serious safety concern has occurred again. During football training at the MUGA, vehicles are repeatedly being parked on the yellow lines on both sides of the road near the second zebra crossing on Lincolnshire Lane. This completely obstructs visibility of the crossing for drivers approaching from both directions, creating a dangerous situation for pedestrians.

⚠️ This is NOT acceptable:

• Parking on the pavement is illegal.
• Parking on yellow lines near a zebra crossing poses a significant risk, particularly to children and families.
• This behaviour endangers lives and must stop immediately.

🚗 Alternative parking is available!

We strongly urge all drivers to act responsibly and prioritise safety. Continued disregard for these rules may result in formal action being taken to prevent further incidents and vehicle passes removed.

Please help keep our community safe.

Every ride matters. 🚗💔

Too many children are still travelling without car seats or seatbelts—and the consequences can be life-changing. A short trip. A quick errand. “Just this once.” That’s all it takes for a preventable tragedy to happen.

Car seats and seatbelts aren’t optional. They are proven to save lives, reduce serious injuries, and protect our most precious passengers. Every child, every trip, every time.

Let’s do better for our kids. Buckle them in. Check that their car seat is the right size and properly installed. Speak up if you see unsafe travel.

SBA Law:

Children under 150cm in height or under the age of 12 MUST be conveyed in a safety system approved by the EU.

If you’re stopped or reported of not conforming to these rules, you will receive on spot fines.

🔐 SECURITY STARTS WITH YOU 🔐

While serving in the military, your accommodation room isn’t just a place to rest — it’s a space that can impact your personal safety, your unit, and even national security.

🚨 Leaving rooms unlocked or unsecured can lead to:
• Theft of personal belongings and military equipment
• Compromise of sensitive documents or information
• Unauthorised access by civilians or hostile actors
• Disciplinary action that can affect your career
• Risk to fellow service members and operations

It only takes one moment of negligence for serious consequences to follow.

✅ Lock your door
✅ Secure keys and access cards
✅ Don’t let unauthorised individuals enter
✅ Report suspicious activity.

Stay alert. Stay disciplined. Stay secure.

🚨 Zero Tolerance. Real Consequences. 🚨

Failing a compulsory drugs test in the military isn’t just a mistake—it’s a breach of trust and standards.

What’s at stake:

• ⚠️ Immediate disciplinary action
• 🚪 Administrative or dishonourable discharge
• ❌ Ended career and reduced veteran benefits
• 🛡️ Compromised unit safety and readiness

Our mission depends on discipline, reliability, and integrity. Every service member plays a role in keeping the force ready and each other safe.

Choose responsibility. Protect your future. Protect your team.
