Today, on 9 September, H. E. Ambassador Henrik Cederin presented his credentials to H.E. President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides.
The ceremony marks the official commencement of his assignment as Sweden’s Ambassador to Cyprus. The presentation of the credentials is an important diplomatic tradition that confirms the Ambassador's mandate to represent Sweden.
Ambassador Cederin looks forward to further strengthening and building upon the longstanding and close relationship between our countries. 🇨🇾 🇸🇪

Sista chansen att rösta på Cypern!
Imorgon fredag 4/9 och lördag 5/9 mellan 09:00-16:00 har du ännu möjlighet att förtidsrösta inför valet 2026 på Skandinaviska kyrkan Cypern i Ayia Napa.
Kom ihåg att ta med giltig legitimation och ditt röstkort om du har ett sådant. Har du inget röstkort så kan du rösta i alla fall. 👍
Observera att du inte kan rösta utomlands på valdagen den 13 september.

With voter turnout above 80 per cent for more than six decades, it's fair to say Swedes have made a habit of showing up at the polls.
