وزير الخارجية فؤاد حسين وسمو الشيخ عبد الله بن زايد يبحثان تعزيز العلاقات العراقية الإماراتية ودعم جهود الاستقرار الإقليمي

بحث وزير الخارجية ، السيد فؤاد حسين، يوم الأربعاء الموافق 24 حزيران 2026، خلال اتصال هاتفي مع سمو الشيخ عبد الله بن زايد آل نهيان، وزير خارجية دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين وسبل تعزيزها في مختلف المجالات.
وأكد السيد فؤاد حسين عمق العلاقات العراقية الإماراتية وأهميتها، مشدداً على ضرورة مواصلة تطويرها وتعزيز التعاون المشترك بما يخدم المصالح المتبادلة للبلدين والشعبين الشقيقين.
كما استعرض السيد الوزير موقف العراق من التطورات الإقليمية الأخيرة، مؤكداً أن العراق تبنى منذ البداية موقفاً ثابتاً يقوم على رفض الحرب واستمرارها أو توسيع نطاقها، والدعوة إلى التهدئة والحلول الدبلوماسية، فضلاً عن إدانة الهجمات التي استهدفت الدول الخليجية الشقيقة.
وأشار السيد فؤاد حسين إلى ترحيب العراق بالتفاهمات التي تم التوصل إليها بين طرفي الصراع، معرباً عن أمله في أن تسهم في تعزيز الأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة.
من جانبه، أكد سمو الشيخ عبد الله بن زايد حرص دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة على تعزيز العلاقات مع جمهورية العراق وتطوير آفاق التعاون الثنائي، متمنياً للعراق دوام الأمن والاستقرار والازدهار.
وتطرق الجانبان إلى المستجدات الإقليمية والدولية ذات الاهتمام المشترك، فيما أشار السيد فؤاد حسين إلى اتصالاته مع المدير العام للوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية، السيد رافائيل غروسي، بشأن عدد من القضايا ذات الصلة بالأوضاع الراهنة.
وفي ختام الاتصال، أكد السيد فؤاد حسين قرب قيامه بزيارة رسمية إلى دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة خلال الفترة المقبلة، في إطار تعزيز التشاور والتنسيق بين البلدين.
H.E. FM Fuad Hussein and H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Discuss Strengthening Iraqi-UAE Relations and Supporting Regional Stability Efforts
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq, H.E. Mr. Fuad Hussein, held a telephone conversation on Wednesday, 24 June 2026, with His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, during which they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them in various fields.
H.E. Mr. Fuad Hussein affirmed the depth and importance of Iraqi-UAE relations, stressing the need to continue developing them and enhancing joint cooperation in a manner that serves the mutual interests of the two countries and their brotherly peoples.
H.E. the Minister also reviewed Iraq’s position on the recent regional developments, affirming that Iraq has, from the outset, adopted a consistent position based on rejecting war and its continuation or expansion, calling for de-escalation and diplomatic solutions, as well as condemning the attacks that targeted the brotherly Gulf states.
H.E. Mr. Fuad Hussein welcomed the understandings reached between the parties to the conflict, expressing hope that they would contribute to enhancing security and stability in the region.
For his part, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed affirmed the United Arab Emirates’ keenness to enhance relations with the Republic of Iraq and develop prospects for bilateral cooperation, wishing Iraq continued security, stability, and prosperity.
The two sides also addressed regional and international developments of mutual interest, while H.E. Mr. Fuad Hussein referred to his contacts with the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Mr. Rafael Grossi, regarding a number of issues related to the current situation.
At the conclusion of the call, H.E. Mr. Fuad Hussein affirmed that he will soon undertake an official visit to the United Arab Emirates in the coming period, within the framework of enhancing consultation and coordination between the two countries.
