𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝟰 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗯𝗲 𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻?

Yes, regular train service on the S4 line between Ansbach and Nuremberg returns to normal July 8.

Service on the line between Ansbach and Nuremberg has been severely restricted since April 2026.

Specifically, the railway is stabilizing a slope on the Nuremberg-Ansbach line in the section between Roßtal and Raitersaich. Since the work began, one track has been closed to train traffic on an alternating basis.

Consequently, DB has significantly reduced the frequency of S-Bahn line 4 services for the duration of the construction. Trains are now mostly running once an hour instead of every 20 minutes. Furthermore, a number of S-Bahn trains are not stopping at Roßtal, Raitersaich, or Heilsbronn.

⚠️ Current train status is available at https://int.bahn.de/en or in the DB Navigator app.

We may not be able to offer these classes again until 2027 or 2028. So, we are trying to reach students in the medical arena who are required to take these classes on-site, not online.

: The current heatwave in the footprint is bringing temperatures to Ansbach that have never been recorded at this time of year since data collection began in 1879.

As early as Friday, hot air from the Sahara pushed the daily high to 35.2°C (95°F). The weekend brought a hot "encore," with highs of 35.1°C (95°F) on Saturday and 35.9°C (97°F) on Sunday. This sets a new all-time statistical record: never before since 1879 has Ansbach experienced more than one day above 35°C in June—yet this year, there have been three in a row.

The only time it was hotter in June than during the past three days was exactly four years ago: on June 19, 2022, Ansbach recorded an unusually high 36.1°C (97°F)—marking the first time since 1879 that the 35-degree mark was surpassed in June.

Die Hitzewelle in Ansbach setzt neue Rekorde, ein Ende ist nicht in Sicht. Mit Temperaturen von über 35 Grad ist der Juni bisher ohne Beispiel.
