Milá Simona,
dnes, 31. augusta 2026, končí Vaša stáž na Veľvyslanectve SR v Berlíne.
Ďakujeme jej za Vašu energiu, nasadenie, nové nápady a ochotu zapojiť sa do každodennej práce nášho tímu. Aj ako študentka Trnavská univerzita v Trnave, Právnická fakulta ste sa na vlastnej koži presvedčili, že medzinárodné vzťahy a diplomacia nie sú len doménou absolventov týchto študijných odborov, ale profesijná špecializácia spojená so znalosťami cudzích jazykov má svoj nezastupiteľné miesto.
Prajeme Vám veľa úspechov v ďalšom štúdiu aj profesijnom živote! 🍀

💡💬 Malý teaser pre tých, ktorí ešte váhajú či má zmysel absolvovať stáže počas štúdia. Simone sme položili dve jednoduché otázky a tu sú jej odpovede:
Prečo som sa rozhodla absolvovať stáž?
Stáž na veľvyslanectve v Berlíne som sa rozhodla absolvovať najmä preto, že som chcela spoznať praktické fungovanie diplomatickej misie v zahraničí a získať skúsenosť s prácou v medzinárodnom prostredí. Keďže ovládam nemecký jazyk na veľmi dobrej úrovni, stáž pre mňa bola aj príležitosťou zdokonaliť si jeho používanie v každodennom kontakte a doplniť svoje právnické vzdelanie o praktickú skúsenosť.
Čo mi stáž priniesla?
Stáž mi umožnila bližšie spoznať fungovanie slovenského veľvyslanectva v Berlíne, každodennú prácu diplomatov a rôznorodosť činností, ktorým sa úrad venuje. Zároveň som získala lepší prehľad o fungovaní slovensko-nemeckých vzťahov, ekonomickej diplomacii a o spôsobe prípravy odborných podkladov a informácií. Pri niektorých úlohách som mala možnosť využiť aj poznatky z oblasti práva, čo mi umožnilo prepojiť časť teoretických vedomostí s praxou. Bola to pre mňa veľmi prínosná skúsenosť a stáž by som určite odporučila nielen študentom medzinárodných vzťahov, ale aj študentom práva, ekonómie či ďalších odborov.

💡💬 Ein kleiner Teaser für alle, die noch überlegen, ob sich ein Praktikum während des Studiums lohnt. Wir haben Simona zwei einfache Fragen gestellt – hier sind ihre Antworten:
Warum habe ich mich für ein Praktikum entschieden?
Ich habe mich für ein Praktikum an der Botschaft in Berlin entschieden, weil ich vor allem die praktische Arbeit einer diplomatischen Vertretung im Ausland kennenlernen und Erfahrungen in einem internationalen Umfeld sammeln wollte. Da ich über sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse verfüge, war das Praktikum für mich auch eine Gelegenheit, meine Sprachkenntnisse im täglichen Kontakt weiter zu vertiefen und meine juristische Ausbildung durch praktische Erfahrungen zu ergänzen.
Was hat mir das Praktikum gebracht?
Das Praktikum ermöglichte mir, die Arbeit der slowakischen Botschaft in Berlin, den Alltag von Diplomatinnen und Diplomaten sowie die vielfältigen Aufgaben der Botschaft näher kennenzulernen. Gleichzeitig erhielt ich einen besseren Einblick in die slowakisch-deutschen Beziehungen, die Wirtschaftsdiplomatie sowie in die Erstellung fachlicher Unterlagen und Informationen. Bei einigen Aufgaben konnte ich auch meine Kenntnisse aus dem Recht einbringen. Dadurch konnte ich einen Teil meines theoretischen Wissens mit der Praxis verbinden. Für mich war das Praktikum eine sehr wertvolle Erfahrung, und ich würde es nicht nur Studierenden der internationalen Beziehungen, sondern auch Studierenden der Rechtswissenschaften, der Wirtschaftswissenschaften und anderer Fachrichtungen empfehlen.

As a law student at Law Faculty of Trnava University in Trnava, you have experienced that international relations and diplomacy are not limited to graduates of these particular fields of study only. Any specialisation combined with foreign-language skills also has an important and irreplaceable role to play in this field.

💡💬 A little teaser for those who are still wondering whether an internship during their studies is worthwhile. We asked Simona two simple questions – and here are her answers:
Why did I decide to do an internship?
I decided to undertake an internship at the Embassy in Berlin mainly because I wanted to get the practical insight into the work of a diplomatic mission abroad and gain experience working in an international environment. As I have a very good command of German, the internship was also an opportunity to further develop my language skills through everyday communication and complement my legal education with practical experience.
What did the internship bring me?
The internship allowed me to gain a closer insight into the work of the Slovak Embassy in Berlin, the daily work of diplomats and the wide range of activities carried out by the Embassy. I also gained a better understanding of Slovak-German relations, economic diplomacy and the preparation of professional background materials and information.
In some of my tasks, I was also able to apply my knowledge of law, which allowed me to connect part of my theoretical knowledge with practical experience. It was a very valuable experience for me, and I would definitely recommend an internship not only to students of international relations, but also to students of law, economics and other fields.
