LTA team member Levinson Eliza has been putting together this flea market for months, and it's finally happening tomorrow - Rescheduled: Fundraiser Flea Market for Black & Pink! The proceeds are going to Black and Pink, a US-based organization which helps LGBTQ people living with HIV/AIDS whose lives have been impacted by the prison industrial complex. We'll have clothes selling for 2, 5, 10, and 15 euros, plus art, live music, and voter registration for US citizens. Hope to see you there :)

Eliza, Lisle and myself (Genesis) stand in solidarity with Black people. Silence is NOT an option is neither is passive or performative activism.
We have compiled a lists of petitions, donations/ mutual aids, websites, and movements to join. All of you can do something while in the comfort of your home. Posting black boxes and hashtags will NOT help the movement. Your money, your signatures and educating yourself will.
We have also recommended books, because it is not up to black people to teach us how to behave and unlearn our racism. We need to do better, all of us.

Our first event, Let’s Talk About Abortion, stemmed from the 2019 abortion bans in the southern states of America. Our first event was successful in raising money for a nonprofit organisation that helps women access safe, compassionate, and affordable reproductive care in six southern states. The event also opened doors for future collaborations with individuals wanting to create conversation and a safe space to speak about things that aren’t okay in this world. We’re working to create a space where we can be both creative and political.

We’re proud to introduce our upcoming collaborative event, Let’s Talk About Periods x OH SH*T!

Director Elsa van Damke created a short comedy about a woman who gets her period on a date.

Join us tomorrow as we bring you a program about everything you thought you knew about periods and everything you want to know about periods. Whether you bleed or not, we all came out of a uterus and we all should know a thing or two about them. Are periods too cringe for you? Then you’re exactly who we want to join.
