We speak of artwashing only when we are dealing with a company or an individual whose “social license” is threatened because of their actions. Entities that use artwashing as part of their PR strategy aim to divert attention away from the core of their (harmful) activities and redirect it toward their secondary (positive) activities. There is an awareness that sponsoring culture can legitimize entities that act against the public interest.

As a Project we wrote the scammer Back that the Artist had interest in the NFT exhibition to see what they write back, to Learn more about the tricks they use ! It all sounds promising, and safe, and they even use Artists and Gallery names that the Target now ! So hopefully we all learn more !

Even if an Artist College is sending you an email and offering you an exhibition you should be aware ! If you doubt, you should ask your college through another Channel !
