SELF-PATH Short-Term Project for Mobility of Learning and Staff in Adult Education which aims Women started on 09.11.2025 till 16.11.2025 just concluded today in Lissabon in 🇵🇹. It is funded by Erasmus+. I wanna thank all the staff who supported this project.

Training Program in Lissabon – 09–16 November 2025

We are pleased to announce the successful Start of our Job Shadow mobility activity in Lissabon , under the framework of our Erasmus+ project SELF-PATH – improving skills for economic independence of women.

During the week, four staff members from Somali Community Service e.V. (Germany) were immersed in the daily activities of. They gained first-hand experience in:

☆ Administrative and project management practices
☆ Applying inclusion tools for women in local and international projects
☆ Practical engagement in community-based initiatives supporting adult women
☆ Social media campaigning and communication strategies
☆ Event planning and logistics for inclusive activities

This exchange offered valuable learning opportunities, fostering skills in women’s empowerment, employability, and social entrepreneurship. The knowledge acquired will directly strengthen our capacity to design educational activities that respond to the needs of Somali women and other migrant communities.

The program followed the plan outlined in our Erasmus+ application and represents the second phase of the project. The next step is happening now and the Training Course is in Lissabon started on 09th of November, where staff will continue building competences in social entrepreneurship and territorial governance.

We thank for their warm hosting, excellent mentoring, and commitment to inclusion and diversity. Together, we are paving the way for stronger cooperation and impactful learning across borders.

Gestern den 12.07.2025 fand in Dortmund ein Treffen vom allgemeinen Somalischen Vereins in Deutschland statt.Ziel des Treffens war die Wahl des neuen Führenden des somalischen Dachverband in Deutschland.Neue Vorsand sind . Der Vorsitzende des somalischen Dachverband in Deutschlands Herr Ibrahim Ishaq Hussein, Stellvertreter Herr Ali Abdurahman,die Sekretärin des Dachverband Frau Fatuma Osman und die Schatzkammer des Dachverband Herr Adan Samatar Somali Embassy in Berlin- Germany Dachverband Der Somalischen Vereine in Deutschland e.V.
