Sustainable Development Goals for University Students is holding a conference in Stuttgart between Wednesday, October 31st and Friday, November 2, 2018. Themed “Innovation through Brain-Grain: the SDGs and the Next Generation”, the conference aims, amongst other things, at providing an open discourse about the status-quo regarding the SDGs. Speakers and participants will examine at in-depth the implications as well as the opportunities provided through innovation in order to make the SDGs a reality.

The conference promises participants the opportunity not only to engage in a “North”-“South” dialogue and network but also to familiarize themselves with expert evaluation and discussion of the SDGs. Speakers have been drawn from influential developmental, political, and international organisations like Brot für die Welt, EpIZ, African German Youth Initiative, Engagement Global, Klima- und Umweltbündnis etc.

The conference holds at the “Haus Der Kirche” König Str. 7, 70173 Stuttgart. Accommodation is at “Campus Guest Hotel” Universitätstr. 37 70569 Stuttgart.

Transportation for participants outside of Stuttgart will be funded by the organisers. Accommodation and feeding (except alcoholic drinks) are also free for particpants. The conference fee is 25€.
