When talking to Stephanie Imhof, one thing becomes clear almost immediately: she loves trying new things.
Whether building her own marketing agency, implementing international projects, leading teams, or working with customers across the aviation industry, curiosity and initiative have guided every step of her journey. After studying Media Management and completing master’s degrees in communication and information sciences, Stephie built her career across various areas of the Lufthansa Group. Along the way, she launched her own marketing agency, developing branding concepts and gaining sales experience.
Her Lufthansa journey took her from Quality Management to aircraft overhaul projects in Hamburg, where she worked on training concepts and process implementation in international environments. Through assignments at Lufthansa Technik locations worldwide, she gained valuable international experience across diverse business areas and organizational cultures. She later moved into customer service, key account management, international business development, and leadership roles before joining Lufthansa Technical Training in November 2025 as a Key Account Manager for internal and external customers.
What excites her most about the role is the unique combination of people, business, and technology. "I've worked in customer-facing roles for years, and I can honestly imagine doing this until retirement," she says. "At LTT, you have the perfect mix of training, communication, and highly technical products. It allows you to stay creative and keep learning."
When describing Lufthansa Technical Training, three things immediately come to mind: innovative training solutions, a fantastic team culture, and the unique proximity to aviation itself.
One memorable experience happened before joining the company. Attending an LTT customer event as a future colleague, everyone else arrived by taxi while Stephie arrived on a scooter in a dress and high heels. The unexpected entrance quickly became a conversation starter and memorable introduction to the team.
Her approach to work is straightforward.
"I just do it," she says. "I ask for feedback, exchange ideas, and learn from people across the organization. The key is to stay curious and keep trying." That mindset continues to shape how she approaches challenges and opportunities.
For anyone new to Lufthansa Technical Training, her advice is simple: "Go straight to the hangar and have a look at the aircraft. There’s nothing more inspiring." Looking ahead, Stephie hopes to see LTT continue growing internationally and driving innovation. She is particularly passionate about immersive learning technology. "I would love to see our VR solutions become a real success story. We have exciting ideas and great potential. Now it's about being courageous enough to keep exploring new paths."
Curiosity, innovation, and a passion for connecting people and technology, that's what drives Stephie at Lufthansa Technical Training.
