2 x 3 (x 4) ist ein neues ausstellungsformat der produktions- und ausstellungsplattform basis e.v. im öffentlichen raum. 4 mal im jahr wird die 2 mal 3 meter große fläche an der außenfassade der gutleutstrasse 8–12 von designern und illustratoren neu gestaltet. das klassische medium plakatfläche wird neu interpretiert und bietet raum zum experimentieren. das projekt wird kuratiert von adrian nießl

2 X 3 (X 4) is a new exhibition format of production and exhibition platform in public space. every 3 months (4 times a year) the 2 x 3 meters sized billboard on the front of the atelier and exhibition house (located in gutleutstrasse 8-12, frankfurt am main, germany) will be redesigned by a designer or illustrator. the classic billboard poster format is reinterpreted and provides space for experimentation.

located near the Schauspielhaus (theatre) in the city center "basis" is a not-for-profit cultural institution in Frankfurt am Main. "basis" is not only a curated exhibition space, it also provides studios for young artists and designers who are currently starting their career.
