After four years of study in Germany as an international student, I finished one bachelor's and two master's programmes and now working at a local school in Göttingen. Now I have the opportunity to conduct a workshop for intercultural competence (mainly but not only) for international students with the aim of helping international students to improve their communicative skills in the context of study and student life in various situations of intercultural encounters.
German students who are considering going abroad to do an exchange semester can also join this workshop and profit from the intercultural exercises and the followup discussions and reflections.
However, this workshop got online quite late and not assigned to any module with credits. Therefore, there are few people signing up. 😂 So, if anyone is interested, please sign up on Stud.IP (course number 450927). It is a Blocksveranstaltung on 31.10. and 01.11. (10:00-16:00) , which are two holidays and there will be no regular seminars as you usually do. If you have time and interest, we can explore the intercultural encounters through various activities such as creative writing and role plays.🥰
