As part of the funded project, , together with its international partners, is organizing the summer school “Geospatial Information for Wildfire Monitoring and Risk Assessment” in , North Macedonia, from September 6 to 12, 2026.
The summer school provides hands-on training in the use of geodata and satellite-based remote sensing for the monitoring and risk assessment of wildfires. It is aimed in particular at students, early-career researchers, and professionals from government and civil society institutions in the agriculture and forestry sectors in the Western Balkans.
