#📣 New training available: S(t)imulating Democracy!

"S(t)imulating Democracy" is a workshop that explores how role-playing European institutions can bring democracy to life in high schools. Many students find the European Union distant or difficult to understand, but simulations turn the classroom into a hands-on laboratory for citizenship.

Instead of just listening to lectures, students take on roles as leaders to learn how laws and decisions are actually made through debate and the search for compromise.

MEP Victor Negrescu, MEP Nela Riehl, MEP Brigitte van den Berg and MEP Dennis Radtke, the four co-chairs, confirmed their commitment to further increase the proposed funding allocations for in the next EU budget 🎯

Civil society stakeholders and social partners engaged in a lively exchange, contributing to a common position on the next MFF: we need to mainstream education throughout the budget, ensuring that at least 20% of the EU budget addresses education challenges, in its many facets 💰

We are ready to support the European Parliament in its effort to build EU programmes that meet people's needs before addressing market needs. 📣

In the aftermath of the tragic shooting at Campus Risbergska in Örebro, we at EUNET - European Network for Education and Training, e.V. send our deepest condolences to the families, friends, and all those affected.

Schools are meant to be places of learning, growth, and hope, and this senseless act of violence has shaken the very foundation of that safe environment. The loss of eleven lives in a center of education is a sorrow felt not only in Sweden but across Europe.

As you mourn, we stand in solidarity with the Swedish people. We believe in the power of education to heal, to unite, and to create a better future, even in the face of such darkness. May this tragedy remind us all of the importance of safeguarding our schools and the vital role they play in shaping a peaceful society.
