Watch the Vinyl Zapper® in action as it removes decals, graphics, and adhesive residues from a train wagon surface, without damaging the underlying substrate.
Unlike traditional removal methods that rely on heat guns, chemicals, or time-consuming manual scraping, the Vinyl Zapper quickly and effectively eliminates vinyl wraps, stickers, and adhesive build-up while preserving the integrity of the surface.
The result? Reduced maintenance time, lower labor costs, and a clean surface ready for inspection, repainting, or the application of new graphics.
Whether in rail, automotive, fleet, or industrial maintenance, the Vinyl Zapper helps operators minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Preparation starts before blasting quality.
This jetty pile structure is being treated with the Bristle Blaster® as a critical pre-step in the surface preparation process. The system removes thick and heavy coatings, corrosion, and contaminants while creating a uniform anchor profile that prepares the surface for the next stage of treatment.
The result? Improved blasting efficiency, reduced abrasive consumption, and optimal conditions for long-term coating performance.
As part of the Strip & Prep Concept, Bristle Blaster delivers a cleaner, more consistent surface before blasting begins, helping contractors achieve higher productivity and superior coating adhesion.

Advanced 3Layer PE or PP removal for cathodic protection (CP) pin brazing.
High-performance surface preparation in action on a 3-layer FBE/Glue/PE pipeline ahead of CP pin brazing.
The PE coating was efficiently removed using the Blasting Disc as a powerful pre-treatment step, breaking down the yellow PE-coating and preparing the surface for precision finishing. This was followed by Bristle Blasting, delivering a cleaner uniform surface profile in line with ISO 8501-1 (comparable to Sa 2 ½). The process also enabled smooth feathered edges, ensuring optimal transition zones for reliable electrical insulation. A proven combined method for controlled coating removal, superior surface profiling, and reliable, field-ready results.

The first week of May was an active and exciting one for MONTIPOWER and our partners across multiple regions and industry events.
MontiPower Central Europe, represented by Martin Durčík, showcased our expertise in surface preparation, Bristle Blasting technology, and coating performance during the Opatija Gas & Oil event in Croatia. In Latin America, the MontiPower LATAM team — Andres Navarette, Sjoerd van Dooren, and Izaak van Drongelen — together with our local distributor , presented Bristle Blasting technology at the Summit in Costa Rica, engaging with industry professionals and sharing insights into advanced surface treatment solutions. Meanwhile, , in collaboration with and supported by Frank Valls, Haritz Elexpuru, Andrew Swan, Joel Bialek, and Nathan Knight, had a fantastic presence at the Show in Indianapolis, introducing our latest laboratory equipment and innovations to the paint industry.
A big thank you to all our partners for their outstanding work, commitment, and strong representation of our technologies across these important international events.

Coating removal with the Bristle Blaster delivering excellent surface preparation results. In this application, the Bristle Blaster effectively removes FBE pipeline coating while achieving surface cleanliness in line with ISO 8501-1, comparable to Sa 2 ½.
At the same time, it creates a uniform and consistent anchor profile, ensuring optimal coating adhesion and long-term performance.
This process combines efficiency with precision, making it a strong alternative to traditional abrasive blasting—especially in field applications where mobility, control, and reduced setup are critical.
Key advantages observed:
✔ Consistent, reproducible surface profile
✔ Effective removal of FBE coatings and corrosion layers
✔ Surface cleanliness comparable to Sa 2 ½ (ISO 8501-1)
✔ Reduced setup time compared to conventional blasting
✔ Optimal anchor profile for coating adhesion and durability
✔ Ideal for on-site and maintenance work

In field joint preparation on 3LPE / 3LPP pipelines, one challenge keeps coming back. How do you remove PP or PE pipeline coating without damaging the FBE primer?
This is exactly where the MONTI Vinyl Zapper stands out. It’s not just a removal tool. It’s a controlled coating preparation solution.
• Perfect for feathering edges
It naturally creates a smooth transition zone, which is critical for proper tape or shrink sleeve adhesion and long-term sealing performance.
• Consistent and repeatable
Operator-independent results reduce variability on site.
• Preserves corrosion protection integrity
By maintaining the FBE layer, you avoid exposing bare steel unnecessarily, reducing the risk of corrosion initiation during application.
The result?
✔ Cleaner surface prep
✔ Better adhesion of field joint coating systems
✔ Lower failure risk over time
You’re not just removing coating. You’re protecting the system beneath it.

Preparing the Surface for the Future. One machine. Two essential steps: coating removal and surface preparation. It takes two to tango.
This is the power of our Strip & Prep Concept by BristleBlaster, delivering the highest level of cleanliness and a perfectly homogeneous surface profile.
Here you see Camila Montino Mena from TRAMETAL LTDA (Chile) during her training at MontiPower in Macaé, Brazil with Dirk Pohlmann.
The combination works seamlessly: The combi efficiently removes thick coatings and corrosion on flat surfaces BristleBlaster belts gently treat welds, corners, and complex geometries Together, they form a powerful solution to increase speed while achieving top-tier surface preparation quality.

Interested in learning more or getting trained? We offer hands-on training in over 20 locations worldwide, including the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, UAE, USA, Brazil, Japan, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Panama, and Belgium. Let’s raise the standard in surface preparation — together.
