🎭ROLES WE'RE CASTING:
Beetlejuice Jr. features a mix of mischievous, spooky, and quirky characters, led by Beetlejuice and Lydia Deetz.
⭐Main Characters:
• Beetlejuice – A mischievous and zany ghost with a love for chaos, he is the “ghost with the most” who helps Lydia in her schemes but often causes pandemonium in the process.
• Lydia Deetz – A strange and unusual teenager, still grieving her mother, fascinated by the supernatural, and the only one who can see the recently deceased couple.
⭐The Maitlands.
• Adam Maitland – Recently deceased, Adam is a kind, gentle ghost who, along with Barbara, tries to protect their home from the living and from Beetlejuice’s antics.
• Barbara Maitland – Adam’s wife, adventurous and strong-willed, she is optimistic and supportive, often helping Lydia navigate the ghostly world.
⭐The Deetz Family
• Charles Deetz – Lydia’s father, a businessman adjusting to his new home and family dynamics, often stressed by the supernatural events.
• Delia Deetz – Lydia’s soon to be stepmother, eccentric and obsessed with art, she is optimistic but somewhat fragile, often clashing with the ghosts and Lydia.
⭐Supporting Characters
• Otho – Delia’s self-proclaimed life coach and art advisor, quirky and enthusiastic, often involved in the Deetz household chaos.
• Other Ghosts and Ensemble – Various spirits and townspeople who interact with the main characters, contributing to the comedic and spooky elements of the show.
