The SMART Scholarship application window is OPEN!
For students pursuing STEM degrees, the SMART Scholarship-for-Service Program offers more than help paying for college. It provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience, build professional skills, and create a pathway to a meaningful civilian career supporting the Department of War.
SMART scholars may receive:
• Full tuition and required educational fees
• Annual stipend
• Health insurance and book allowance
• Paid summer internships
• Hands-on STEM experience
• Guaranteed civilian employment after graduation, subject to program requirements
