Running Improvement Program
Ramstein Running Improvement Program is for individuals wanting to prepare for their next fitness test and improve their 1.5 mile run time. The morning program meets on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays starting 1 March- 26 April from 0600 to 0700. The afternoon program meets on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursday starting 4 March- 29 April. All sessions will start at Southside Fitness Center Tennis Courts. This program is for individuals 18 years or older. All members of the KMC may participate. To register visit: https://forms.osi.apps.mil/r/zzd5dDG2sG. Today, 49 Airmen & Guardians graduated the First Term Enlisted Course! We had an action packed day with briefs from ADAPT, Ramstein Health Promotion, Diversity and Inclusion, Unconscious Bias, Area Defense Counsel, and last but not least, an awesome visit from our Wing leadership team, Brigadier General Otis C. Jones and Chief Master Sergeant Louis J. Ludwig.

Our Leadership award went to A1C Sergio Gauto. He is from Fort Lauderdale, FL. He joined because he wanted to be a better man and have a brighter future. He also joined because he has hopes and aspirations to be a PJ.

His favorite quote is ”No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it. Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees. “Make level paths for your feet,” so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed.“

Day 3 of FTEC was one for the books! We had the Military & Family Readiness Center brief and the Education office brief!
They are fired up and ready to go rock the mission!

Day 2 of FTEC was awesome!
Our teammates received their Initial Wingman Intervention Training, Resilience Training from the IPPW office, and an introduction to base resources and professional development opportunities!

Let me tell you guys, these are some highly motivated individuals and Ramstein is lucky to have them!!
Finally, we ended the day with a friendly game of volleyball! (Or was it?) 🏐

Day 1 of FTEC ✅
We started the day with Ramstein’s Development Advisor, MSgt Adam Ybarra, who dropped some gems and educated our newly enlisted Airmen and Guardians about standards and the Enlisted Force Structure. We also had briefings from OSI, the 86 AW historian (Ms. Shannon Murphy), an Intel briefing from 86 OSS, and The Great Power Competition Brief from MSgt Travis Gotch. We finished the day with the Chief’s Perspective from CMSgt Evan Singleton.
Our teammates are getting more nuggets than a 20-piece from McDonalds!
