-Change of Command May 29, 2026-

This past Friday, we celebrated the exchanging of command of the 721st AMXS from Lieutenant Colonel Branco to Major Dodge.

To Lt Col Branco,

Thank you for your past three years of leadership through multiple surges, operations and organizational shifts. Your support for your troops was recognized and appreciated at all levels and we are honored to have served with you. We are wishing you well on the next step of your journey in the Air Force! Thank you.

To Major Dodge,

We are excited to see your exceptional leadership in the coming years! Your enthusiasm to take charge of your new position was felt throughout the squadron and we are ready to push the mission forwards with you at the lead. We look forward to serving with you sir!

-May 28, 2026 Promotion/Awards Ceremony-

Congratulations to SSgt York, SSgt Tayag, and SSgt Graziano on their promotion to the rank of Staff Sergeant!

Staff Sergeants are premiere frontline supervisors responsible for overseeing maintenance teams for mission critical tasks, as well as mentoring and training Airmen and future supervisors through OJT and professional development.

To our new Staff Sergeants, congratulations and continue your journeys as new supervisors and 7 levels!

Additionally, SSgt Lee and SrA Kellough were awarded the Airforce Commendation Medal for heroism as well as Tsgt Montgomery, SSgt Henderson, and SrA Morena-Peña being awarded the Air Force Achievement Medal for their efforts in rescuing an incapacitated wingman during in-tank fuel maintenance on a C-17A Aircraft.

To our decoration recipients, thank you for your selfless service and dedication under pressure.

1st Lt Ortiz is a cornerstone for the 721st AMXS.

As CSS commander, Lt Ortiz is responsible for maintaining and directing all of the Commanders Support Programs that allow 721st Maintainers to focus on supporting and facilitating Air Power!
