This is the official page for the Mobilization and Deployment Support Command (MDSC) , Warrior Transition Program in Germany. WTP Sembach, Germany is a U.S.

WTP conducts structured and unstructured purposeful activities designed to strengthen the mind, spirit, and body of individuals returning from combat zone deployments. The program is based on the Combat Operational Stress Control (COSC) model of identifying and mitigating stressors associated with deployments, enabling individuals to build upon their experiences in a positive, productive manner. In addition to facilitating decompression, the WTP staff is passionately dedicated to ensuring that those that have borne the burdens of combat realistically anticipate, and are prepared to resume the roles of spouse, parent, co-worker, and citizen. 🏰 Celebrating Promotions at Historic Nanstein Castle 🏰

On September 2nd, we had the honor of gathering at Nanstein Castle in Germany to celebrate two incredible leaders.

LCDR Lisa Tisch and LCDR William “Bill” Sperry were officially promoted to Commander (CDR) in a ceremony led by CAPT Bryan Pricher.

Their dedication, professionalism, and commitment to service inspire all of us. Congratulations, CDR Tisch and CDR Sperry! Your leadership will continue to make a lasting impact!

How do you find the words to say farewell to a great boss, enthusiastic leader and advocate, and friend? You don’t.

This week WTP completes the OIC turnover from LCDR Peralta to CDR Brock. Our Change of Charge ceremony was a great success and tomorrow we say our “see you later” to LCDR as he starts his next (local) adventure.

OIC, thank you for 18 months of fighting to improve WTP and all we do for our Sailors. Your laughter and enthusiasm will be greatly missed.

“On 28th August 2025 | turned over my duties as Officer in Charge of the Navy's Warrior Transition Program. It was an amazing 18 months that Breanna and I will forever cherish. I learned a lot, I have grown a lot and I take with me amazing memories and feelings of joy.

I will be forever grateful to CAPT Daniel Layton for trusting and selecting me to do the job and to CAPT Samuel Hoard for his leadership, guidance and mentorship. I am proud of Navy WTP Sembach Germany accomplishments and excited for WTP's future! Fair Winds and Following Seas!”
