Once upon a time...

🏰 Saar Castle was erected between 1912 and 1914 by the renowned architect Christoph Jüen. The project was commissioned by Adolf Wagner, a successful sparkling wine producer, who wanted to create not only a luxurious residence for his family but also a functional space for his business.

🍾 The historic ensemble was inspired by English country houses and castles, giving the estate a special atmosphere of seclusion and nobility. The lower floors of the building served as a winery, where exquisite sparkling wines were produced, while the upper floors became a cozy home for Wagner and his family.

🌿 Today, Saar Castle attracts tourists with its unique history and architectural beauty. It's a place where history meets modernity, offering visitors unforgettable experiences.

Our castle is located between the valleys of the Saar and Moselle rivers in the picturesque village of Serrig, home to about 1000 people.
