Aus gegebenem Anlass - letztes Jahr der Förderperiode - möchten wir Kleine oder Mittelständische Unternehmen der fünf Süderelbe Landkreise DAN, UE, LG, WL und STD auf die Möglichkeit hinweisen, die Entwicklung eines Prototyps durch das EU-EFRE Förderprojekt 'Kompetenzzentrum Neue Materialien und Produktion' gefördert zu bekommen. Der Prototyp muss aus einem nicht-traditionellen Werkstoff (Holz, Metall, Stein) und / oder mit einem additiven verfahren hergestellt werden, dann werden die Kosten der Entwicklung übernommen. Bitte melden!

Yeah, today court registry in Berlin confirmed registration of Composites United e.V., the new association merged from CFK Valley e.V. and Carbon Composites e.V.!

Only two days after the composites Convention 2019 in Stade on June 12 & 13, CFK Valley exhibited at the Day of the German army on the airbase in Fassberg where at the same time the 70th anniversary of the Berlin Airlift was celebrated. German Federal Minister of Defence, Mrs. Ursula von der Leyen gave a welcome address which was broadcasted live to 14 more locations of the German army.

With the visit of Lower Saxony's Minister of Research and Culture, the 1st Composites Convention and this event in Fassberg it was a tremendous week for the team of CFK Valley e. V. and all its members.

Just one day before this year's main event of the lightweighting branch, the Composites Convention 2019 in Stade, Dr. Gunnar Merz and Dr. Joachim Henning were invited to the premises of a local forwarding company together with high rank politicions from Lower Saxony and the city of Stade. CFK Valley introduced Lower Saxony's Minister of Science and Culture, Mr. Björn Thümler to the application of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic materials in equipment for the Hydrogen technolgy and, participated in the following expert's discussion. NOW IT'S OVER - the 1st Composites Convention, held in the city of Stade on June 12 & 13 together with the new partner in Composites United, Carbon Composites from Augsburg and this year's partner country of honor, the USA.

More than 450 participants from all over the world took the occasion to get informed about product and market development in the lightweighting industry by high level speakers, a. o. from NASA, BMW, and AIRBUS. An outstanding evening event at the banks of the river Elbe served as a platform to have an utmost efficient networking.

After having finished the new office in January, CFK Valley e.V. now got married with CCeV from Augsburg! General member assemblies of both the asssociations approved unanimously to merge CFK Valley with CCeV. With this step a much more powerful and stronger association is formed that can bring even higher added value to all members. 🙂

Lower Saxony's prime minister, Mr Stefan Weil visited CFK Valley e.V. exclusively on SEP19 to get first hand information on our contribution to the UCCON project and even more of interest, to learn about KNMP, a regional project to introduce new materials and addditive manufacturing to small and medium size enterprises in the 'Süderelbe region'.
